Aquarena Springs has some of the clearest water around. And, with a constant water temperature of 72 degrees, Aquarena is a great destination year round.

Lake Travis

Divers travel from all over the state to enjoy the diving at Lake travis. Several Travis County Parks, including Mansfield Dam, Bob Wentz, Pace Bend and others offer easy access to shore diving. Barstow's Windy Point Park is a private property that caters to scuba diving. You will need a boat to explore dive sites such as Starne's Island, Wreck Alley, or the Oasis Wall. The great state of Texas offers a wide variety of diving opportunities. Saltwater diving includes rig trips , wreck diving and the famous Texas Flowergardens, which is the northernmost caribbean reef structure. Freshwater diving opportunities include Mammoth Lake, near Houston, Clear Springs Park near Dallas and Balmoreah Springs out west.
